Today we traveled about 30 miles west of where we live in order to visit the mission base of David Livingstone and his family. We were shown by our guide, "David", what is left of the church building and home place. The church was also used as a school and his home was used as a medical clinic. I tried to imagine what it must have been like over a 160 years ago.
It was a special time for our family to reflect on those who have come before us on this journey and all that they sacrificed so that others could hear about the saving grace of Jesus.
